Original graphite pencil drawing 'Skjønnhet'

I love all animals, but there is something special and majestic about horses. They calm my soul whenever I am in their company, and this feeds the love and respect I have for them. 
About two years ago a customer introduced me to Norwegian Fjord Horses. Their beauty and unique manes and tails inspired me to create a series of drawings on just this breed. I contacted a number of Norwegian Fjord owners through social media, and was delighted when some of them sent me images of their horses to use. 
The word Skjønnhet means Beauty in Norwegian and I couldn’t think of a better title to represent this image.
