A couple of years ago a customer introduced me to Norwegian Fjord Horses, their beauty and unique manes and tails inspired me to create a series of drawings of the breed. The series was created thanks to a number of Norwegian Fjord owners, who sent me images of their horses to use through social media.
 
This was the first drawing created, and I think it was the perfect starting point. The beauty and majestic look of this image was the reason why I was drawn to the original photograph.
